FAQ

Questions, answered

What surfaces can I use this on?

Quartz Stain Off is designed for quartz countertops. That is the only approved surface currently published. If you have another surface, ask Restore Bot or contact us before using it.

How do I know what type of stone I have?

Engineered quartz usually looks very uniform with repeating patterns, while natural stone has unique, non-repeating veining. Tile shows individual pieces with grout lines. These are clues only — the surest answer comes from your original invoice, builder or fabricator. Restore Bot can help you think it through, but it cannot confirm a material with certainty.

How do I use it?

It's a simple DIY application with no professional tools required. Use the cream with the included microfiber cloth and white buffing pad for controlled, scratch-free application. It works in seconds, with no long dwell times or overnight waiting. Always use as directed.

How much product do I need?

Each kit includes a 4 oz (118 mL) bottle plus a microfiber cloth and white buffing pad. Exact square-foot coverage isn't specified — check the packaging or contact Restore Tile & Stone for detailed guidance.

What's in it, and is it safe?

Ingredients: water, silica quartz, alcohol ethoxylate, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, polydimethylsiloxane emulsion and 1-amino-2-propanol. The formula is non-toxic, fragrance-free, non-abrasive, non-acidic and safe for food-prep surfaces. For complete safety warnings, check the product packaging.

Can I use it in my shower?

Showers are not listed among the approved surfaces for Quartz Stain Off. Contact us before using it anywhere other than quartz countertops.

Can I use it on countertops?

Yes — it is designed for quartz countertops specifically. For other countertop materials, contact us first.

Where can I find the directions?

Basic application guidance is on the product page, and full directions are printed on the product label.

Can Restore Bot help me choose?

Yes. Restore Bot answers from our published product information and only recommends products for surfaces that are actually approved. If it isn't sure, it will tell you and point you to us.
